Backpack into the Cloud Peak Wilderness for high country lake exploration, with a two-night stay at Paintrock Lodge and horse pack assistance.
Join SOLFUL Journey TDL for a 7 day and 6 night guided backpacking trip to the stunning high country of Wyoming’s Bighorn Mountain Range. Surrounded by amazing scenery and natural wonders, join colleagues as we backpack, explore and experience high country meadows, pocket alpine lakes tucked deep into glacial cirques, and trails that meander along and through mountain streams.
This adventure is led by two certified and seasoned leaders who will guide and direct participants with scheduled yoga, meditation, creativity, exploration, photo opportunities, and playful opportunities to explore individual and social experiences associated with the powers of nature.
This adventure includes two nights at a high country lodge with full-service meals and running water. Paintrock Outfitters will horse-assist our trip by packing in extra food and gear to help lighten the load of our backpackers. The lodge will also offer participants opportunities for horseback riding and trout fishing during their stay.

When planning for a trip, it's important to prepare both mentally and physically and make sure you have the proper equipment.

Be sure to check with your personal physician if this trip is for you. In some instances, you may be hiking at a high elevation on a regular basis, and will be required to carry a limited amount of weight in a backpack (up to 35-40 pounds) for extended periods of time. There will be frequent water breaks and rests to assess personal well-being, but the group will be required to hike up to 6 -8 miles on certain days.
The trip will be supported by wilderness medicine trained facilitators, but individuals must arrive for the experience in good physical shape and must not view this experience as an opportunity to “get in shape.” Peak experiences happen through peak preparation.
